Energy infrastructure under attack in Ukraine
The country's power facilities have faced increased attacks in recent weeks

Several individuals were injured while residents in the city's east were left without electricity and faced interruptions to drinking water, as stated by municipal leaders.

Meanwhile, a minor was fatally injured in a distinct aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southern area, as reported by area administrators.

Russian forces has escalated attacks on power infrastructure over the last fortnight, while officials has requested "substantial measures" from international partners to apply pressure on Russia.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and more than 30 missiles attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, labeling such attacks as "strategic and deliberate" and against "critical infrastructure" as temperatures become colder.

Government representatives said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and repair crews were striving to restore power.
